For this series, I chose to work with a large format camera — a decision that not only defined the aesthetics of the images but also helped me find my artistic voice. Through this project, I discovered my style: staged photography, where every frame becomes a stage to embed messages, symbols, and narratives.

Large format photography demands patience and intention. Every step, from setting up the tripod to focusing on the ground glass, is deliberate. There is no rushing: each image is carefully constructed, every element chosen to carry meaning. The inverted image on the ground glass invites me to see differently — to break down reality and rebuild it in a way that speaks.

By using a large format camera, I am able to create photographs that go beyond documentation. They are visual statements — meticulously composed, rich in texture and tone, and layered with messages that unfold over time. In a fast-paced world, this slow, crafted approach allows me to transform observation into reflection and photography into storytelling.
